Costco Members Now Have Access To Online Health Check-ups

Costco is now offering its members online health checkups for low prices.
The retailer is offering the new service in partnership with Sesame, a direct-to-consumer health care marketplace that connects medical providers nationwide with consumers. Starting this week, Costco members can book health care visits directly through their membership in all 50 states.
The platform does not accept health insurance because it primarily caters to uninsured Americans and those with high-deductible plans. However, the prices are not outrageous. A virtual primary care visit costs $29, a standard lab panel and virtual follow up consultation with a provider costs $72 and online mental health visits cost $79.
Costco is now among several retailers who are directly providing health care to customers as the demand for urgent care access outside of a traditional hospital setting is on the rise.
