Uber Is Set To Roll Out Updates To Its Food Delivery Platform
The updates come at a time when Uber is battling for a permanent stance in the grocery e-commerce space against competitors such as DoorDash and Instacart.
Uber Eats will soon accept more payment options on its food delivery platform and roll out an Artificial Intelligence powered assistant.
The company will get a dedicated section to showcase promotional offers called ‘Sales Aisle’. The section includes the option for users to search for deals by store as well as find deals on ‘top items’.
Meanwhile, the AI assistant will assist customers in exploring new dishes, reordering meals, helping meal plan, find sales on grocery items and ordering recipe ingredients.
