Three Died In A Florida Shooting Believed To Be Racially Motivated
The suspect fatally shot the three at a Dollar General store in what authorities have called an anti-black hate crime.
On Saturday, three people died in a shooting attack that is believed to have been racially motivated.
The victims were identified as 19-year-old AJ Laguerre Jr., 29-year-old Jerrald Gallion, and 52-year-old Angela Carr, all African Americans. The gunman was identified as 21-year-old Ryan Palmeter, a white male.
The suspect fatally shot the three at a Dollar General store in what authorities have called an anti-black hate crime.
The gunman used racial slurs and drew swastikas on his firearm. He was armed with an AR-15-style rifle as well as a handgun and was sporting a tactical vest and blue latex gloves.
The suspect was later found dead at his home with a will and a suicide note.
The shooter did not appear to know the victims and it is believed he acted alone.
