Two People Attacked By Multiple Dogs In Florence

The owner will have to stand before a judge and evidence will be shown to determine whether the animals are a danger to the public or not.

Two people were attacked by multiple dogs in the area of Floyd Circle in Florence County.

Officers received a call reporting a man had been attacked by six dogs who were roaming in the community. Three or four officers responded and EMS was called to assist the man who was attacked.

The dogs then tried to attack the paramedic, but they defended themselves using a seat belt cutter. The injured canine was taken to the vet and is fine.

Authorities found the home the dogs belonged to, but the owner was not home and still has yet to claim the animals.

The dogs are currently under quarantine hold and if the owner wants them back, they have to stand before a judge and evidence will be shown to determine whether the animals are a danger to the public or not.
