In an attempt to deescalate internal GOP tensions, House Republicans voted to refer a Biden impeachment resolution to two committees instead of holding an immediate vote on impeaching the president.

On Thursday, the House voted in favor of sending Representative Lauren Boebert’s impeachment resolution to the Homeland Security and Judiciary Committees.
