Republicans Oppose Colleagues Motion To Vote On Impeachment Of Biden

Rep. Lauren Boebert remains consistent and continues to defend her move to force a vote on impeachment.

On Wednesday, House Republicans showed disapproval for one of their own colleagues.

Representative Lauren Boebert made a motion on Tuesday to bring up her resolution to impeach President Biden over his handling of the U.S.-Mexico border, forcing a floor vote on the measure some time this week.

Boebert’s critics claim her move to stage an impeachment vote is “wildly premature” and could affect the Republicans’ on-going efforts to investigate the Biden family’s business dealings while undermining potential impeachment efforts in the future.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy urged members to oppose the impeachment resolution and shared his opinion that this direction is serious and would take a lengthy process and an investigation to accomplish.

Despite her colleagues opinions, Boebert is consistent and continues to defend her move to force a vote on impeachment.
