Regularly Using the Internet Might Deter Dementia

It looks like using the internet might actually be good for your brain! A new study found people who regularly use the internet are less likely to develop dementia. Researchers tracked 18-thousand adults between the ages of 50 and 65 over an eight year period…none of them had dementia when the study began…by the end of it…those who regularly went online were about half as likely to develop dementia. According to the study, the sweet spot is about two hours or less a day. People who used the internet during that time frame had the lowest risk. But, scientists say more research is needed.
