Additional Arrests Made In Connection To A Fatal Shooting Incident
All suspects are facing charges of first-degree murder, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to robbery with a dangerous weapon, and discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling.
Additional arrests have been made in connection to a fatal shooting incident.
The shooting occurred on December 22nd in Maxton. Authorities arrived at a home on Corey Road and found 50-year-old, Darrell Locklear had been shot. He was transported to a hospital where he later died. His death was ruled a homicide.
An investigation first led to the arrests of 18-year-old, Kobe Mobley and 22-year-old, Xavier Jones.
Additional arrests have now been made including, 20-year-old, Jadarius Kells, 21-year-old, Kenyate Graham, and 22-year-old, Kyler Page.
All five suspects are facing charges of first-degree murder, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to robbery with a dangerous weapon, and discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling.
It was revealed that Mobley was Locklear’s neighbor. Mobley is additionally charged with three counts of larceny of a motor vehicle and one count of felony conspiracy.
An investigation is still on-going.
