Meta Considering Trump’s Return To Its Platforms

Trump was banned from Facebook and Instagram after the attack on the U.S. Capitol. The decision was originally indefinite but later revised and after two years, Trump's return to the platforms is now under consideration.

Facebook’s parent company is currently considering a decision.

Meta is deciding whether or not to allow former President Donald Trump back on its platforms. The option is being considered by a group specially formed from different parts of the organization which includes representatives from the company’s public policy, communications, content policy, as well as safety and integrity teams.
