Suspect Arrested In Murder Case Of 4 University Of Idaho Students

Officials have shared little information as they have received many tips and conducted many interviews. They continue to keep the case discrete but an arrest has been made.

After several weeks of investigation, a suspect has now been taken into custody for the murder of four University of Idaho students.

21-year-olds, Kaylee Goncalves and Madison Mogen, as well as 20-year-olds, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin, were found dead on November 13th in an off campus home.

The murders became internationally known. The case is rare because there was not very much evidence as to who the potential suspect or suspects could have been.

On Friday, police announced 28-year-old Bryan Kohberger was arrested at his home in Pennsylvania and will appear in court on Tuesday where his attorney has hinted that he will waive the option to be extradited to Idaho where he will face four counts of first-degree murder and a felony burglary charge.

Authorities have not yet released information regarding his relation to the victims nor why he is a suspect.
