Special Election In The City Of Georgetown

The election is to fill the vacant seat that was previously occupied by City Councilmember, Al Joseph.

On Tuesday the city of Georgetown is holding a special election day to fill a vacant seat.

The seat was previously occupied by City Councilmember, Al Joseph.

The two candidates that are running are Republican, Kelley Johnson, and Democrat, Tamika Obeng.

Polls opened at 7a.m Tuesday morning and will close at 7p.m that evening.
