A federal judge blocked ‘Title 42’.

The rule allowed U.S. authorities to throw out over 1 million migrants arriving at the border on a day-to-day basis.

It was created by the Trump Administration during the Covid-19 pandemic. Yet, the Biden Administration relied on it in order to manage the increase of migrants at the border.

A district judge in Washington D.C. decided that the ‘Title 42’ order was “arbitrary and capricious in violation of the administrative procedure act.”
