The Truist Foundation Granted Thousands To New Organization

The Truist foundation has granted thousands to the new organization launched by the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.

“Partnership Grand Strand” received a donation of $125 thousand. The chamber president and CEO, Karen Riordan, expressed that they are grateful for the Truist foundations donation that assisted them in exceeding their $3 million fundraising goal.

Partnership Grand Strand plans to diversify the region’s economy by growing small businesses as well as attracting and retaining employees.

The organization also supports the renewal of downtown Myrtle Beach and oceanfront areas by improving infrastructure and transportation mobility.
