North And South Korea Launched Missile Tests From The Same Border

The White House denied North Korea's views that executed military drills were "invasion rehearsals."

North Korea fired nearly a dozen missiles in the direction of a South Korean Island. South Korea responded by conducting its own missile tests at the same border area.

The missile launches marked the first time since 1948 that a North Korean missile landed so close to the sea border.

The tests were performed after North Korea threatened to use nuclear weapons as a retaliation to South Korean and U.S. executed military drills that it views as an “invasion rehearsal.”

The White House denied North Korea’s views and assured that the drills are part of a routine training schedule with South Korea and no threats are intended.

North Korea did not respond to the White House’s claim.
