Coastal Carolina University Freshman Arrested After Bomb Threat
Knapp has been charged with a felony for making a bomb threat or conveying false information about a bomb threat.
A freshman at Coastal Carolina University has been charged following campus threats.
On Aug. 18, 18-year-old Asa Knapp was arrested after he was allegedly heard on video surveillance saying, “I am going to blow up this building.”
CCU police were alerted shortly after 9pm and residents in DeCenzo Hall into Tradition Hall. Two hours later, police confirmed the premises was cleared of any threat.
Knapp has been charged with a felony for making a bomb threat or conveying false information about a bomb threat.
