Is the Thumbs Up Emoji Passive Aggressive?

Apparently the youngsters think the thumbs up is passive aggressive.

Speaking of age…there’s a generational debate over something super important…the thumbs up emoji. Apparently the youngsters think the thumbs up is passive aggressive. Some compare it to sending “k”…although older folks say it’s a way to say “great”… “sounds good” or “I agree”. Clearly it depends on who you’re sending it to but the most common place where it’s viewed as rude is in the workplace.
