Three People Are Charged For Human Trafficking Case In Myrtle Beach
The three people were arrested and charged with trafficking in a person under the age of 18.
Three people have been charged in connection to a human trafficking case in Myrtle Beach.
33-year-old, Kwame Vereen, 37-year-old, Lashon Ladson, and 24-year-old, Brittany Jackson, were arrested and charged with trafficking in a person under the age of 18. Jackson allegedly coerced a victim fully aware that they would be used for actions such as sex trafficking, forced labor, or the performance of sexual acts for money.
Ladson and Vereen were both charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct as well, as the two reportedly engaged in sexual battery of the victim. There is reason to believe there are more victims in connection to this case.
The suspects are currently being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
