10 Killed, 18 Injured in Mass Stabbing in Canada. Suspect Still at Large

A manhunt is underway in Saskatchewan Canada for one of two brothers suspected in the stabbings that left 10 people dead and injured 18 others. According to authorities, the attacks which happened Sunday spanned 13 crime scenes in an indigenous community and a nearby rural village. Less than three hours since the first attack was reported, the suspects were identified as 31 year old Damien Sanderson and 30 year old Myles Sanderson. Yesterday morning, Damien was found dead on the James Smith Cree Nation in a “heavily grassed area” near a house. His injuries were not believed to be self-inflicted. His brother Myles is still at large and considered ‘armed and dangerous.’ He has a lengthy criminal record and had warrants out for his arrest prior to the stabbings. He’s been charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder and breaking and entering into a residence.
