Federal Charges Handed Out in Ahmaud Arbery Case

The three men who were convicted in the killing of Ahmaud Arbery were federally sentenced yesterday. Gregory and Travis McMichael received life in prison for their federal convictions on interference with rights along with attempted kidnapping and weapons use charges. Their neighbor William ‘Roddie’ Bryan Jr. was sentenced to 35 years, which will be served at the same time as his state sentence. All three are serving life sentences for their convictions in state court on a series of charges related to Arbery’s death.
