Relay For Life of Marion County

The American Cancer Relay For Life of Marion County will get underway from 11:00 AM to 11PM on April 11th at Withlachoochee Park in Marion SC. The opening ceremony will feature Marion’s Mayor Bobby Davis and will be followed by a survivor’s and caregiver’s lap. Relay For Life teams fundraise throughout the year, and during the event teams set-up campsites and continue fundraising while taking turns continuously walking the track; because cancer doesn’t sleep. Local bands and talent will keep the audience entertained with a special appearance by Second Chance Ministries during the Luminaria Ceremony at 8PM. Our Master of Ceremonies is the talented Al Blake, Director of Historic Marion Revitalization Association. The public is invited to this free event.
