West Florence HIgh Choir to Perform

In celebration of Music In Our Schools Month®, the West Florence Knight Edition Choir will perform a special pop music concert at the Doctors Bruce and Lee Foundation Library on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. West Florence High School’s Knight Edition, directed by Alonzo Davis, has won numerous awards including the Disney Performing Arts performance award for the past seven years for participating in the Walt Disney World Candlelight Processional and for Disney stage productions. They have also received superior ratings and top place finishes at the Music Showcase Festivals. Music In Our Schools Month® is sponsored by the National Association for Music Education for the purpose of focusing the nation’s attention on the need for, and benefits of, quality music education programs. This year marks the 30th Anniversary of Music in our Schools with the goal of celebrating the student and all of the ways that music education drives their personal and academic success.
