Burgess Community Cleanup

Second Annual Burgess Community Cleanup Give a gift to the community by joining the Burgess Community Cleanup, Saturday, March 21, 9 am to noon. Registration is at the South Strand Recreation Center at 9 am. Refreshments and t-shirts provided. Volunteers will be transported to clean up litter along community roads such as: Holmestown Road and McDowell Shortcut. Residents, students, all volunteers’ welcome. Anyone under 16 must have a legal guardian or parent with them. Waivers are required. Keep Horry Beautiful will provide safety vests, gloves and bags. Be sure you get your T-shirt by signing up no later than noon on Friday, March 13. Our order must be placed on the 13th. Get involved in your community and improve neighborhood appearance and pride.
