June is Adopt a Cat Month!

There are many wonderful benefits of owning a feline!

We tend to give the dogs a lot of love on this show but did you know that June is National Adopt a Cat Month. Due to this high influx of cats and kittens in shelters across the county at this time of year, the American Humane Association started “Adopt a Cat Month” to help bring awareness regarding the rescuing and adoption of felines. The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach is celebrating the month by reducing adoption fees of adult cats to just $10 this month. There are many wonderful benefits of owning a cat; one is that they do not require a large amount of space and they’re quite independent. They can also reduce the feeling of loneliness.
