Convicted Murderer Who Escaped A Tennessee Prison Now Recaptured

Morley was considered dangerous and Tennessee authorities have thanked the public and Missouri Highway Patrol for their help in recapturing him.

An inmate that escaped from a Tennessee prison last week has been captured.

Missouri state troopers captured Jacob Morley who broke out of the Northwest Correctional Complex in Tiptonville, Tennessee on Oct. 25. He was serving a life prison sentence for the murder of Cody Birchfield.

After his escape, Morley allegedly stole a truck and authorities used FLOCK cameras to help track it down. As state troopers closed in on him, he attempted to veer off the road and got stuck. Morley was then arrested without further incident around two hours after police were first notified of his possible location.
