Woman Facing Charges After Allegedly Firing Shots At Her Husband

The man was not injured and did not request medical treatment but reported he feared for his safety.

A woman has been arrested after allegedly firing shots at her husband. On Oct. 21, police responded to a shooting in the 600 block of Jennings Road in Myrtle Beach.

66-year-old Pamela Shanley’s husband reported that they had been arguing after she returned home around 8:30pm. He said she was upset because he left a water hose running in the front yard.

Shanley reportedly started questioning her husband about their relationship and where it was going. He went to his bedroom and locked the door to prevent the situation from escalating.

Shanley allegedly then banged on the door twice before firing a .380-caliber Smith & Wesson handgun through the closed door in her husband’s direction.

The man called the police and Shanley was arrested and charged with domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature and using a firearm while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The man was not injured and did not request medical treatment but reported he feared for his safety.
