SEC Considers Removing LSU From Conference

The Southeastern Conference is considering taking drastic actions against LSU.

Last week, the SEC filed a lawsuit against the Tigers over the potential rostering of athletes with NFL experience. It argued that the school was preventing SEC officials from exercising their first amendment rights to govern the conference.

SEC officials are set to host a special meeting to determine whether LSU could face expulsion from the conference. The meeting centers on concerns that school officials have lost control of head coach Lane Kiffin and the football program.
