Man Arrested In Connection To Conway Shooting

One man has been arrested in connection to a shooting that left several people hurt in Conway.

The shooting unfolded on Sept. 1 in the area of Smith Jones Street, near Smith Jones Park. One person was taken to a hospital in an ambulance while three others were transported by personal vehicles. A fifth person was grazed but did not require medical transport.

An investigation led to the arrest of 25-year-old Tyquan Frinks. He is accused of firing guns into a group of people and has been charged with four counts of attempted murder. He also faces a first-degree domestic violence charge from Horry County police. He was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Sunday.
