Five People Killed During Amazon Cargo Plane Crash

An amazon cargo plane crashed near the Miami International Airport on Sunday.

Amazon Air Flight 7598, was a Boeing 767-33 Alpha. It arrived from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and was on its third flight of the day when it overshot the runway while landing.

The plane struck two vehicles including a cleaning company van. Seven people were inside the van at the time. It then tore through a perimeter fence and struck a Toyota that was traveling on a roadway and continued through the grass before striking another fence where Tesla Robotaxis were stationed.

In total, the plane traveled around 1,300 feet past the paved surface. Five people were killed, and at least five others were injured. All the victims were in the two vehicles.

The National Transportation Safety Board has recovered both the flight data recorder and the cockpit voice recorder to be reviewed. Further details are limited.
