Two Separate Rollover Crashes Leaves One Person Dead, Two Hurt

The single-vehicle crash involved two people who were both transported to a hospital to be treated for injuries.

Two separate rollover crashes occurred in Florence County just minutes apart on Tuesday.

The first accident happened around 7:45pm in the 100 block of First Neck Road near Lake City Highway in Johnsonville. Occupants were reportedly trapped inside. The single-vehicle crash involved two people who were both transported to a hospital to be treated for injuries but their current conditions are unknown.

The second crash happened around 7:50pm at the intersection of Pamplico Highway and Willard Henry Road. A Mitsubishi was heading south on Pamplico when it veered of the side of the road, struck a culvert, and overturned. Firefighters were on the scene conducting fire suppression efforts. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene but their identity has not been publicly released. The cause of both crashes are under investigation.
