Crash Involving E-Bike And Vehicle Leaves Juvenile Injured

Police, as well as the fire department, responded to the intersection of 8th Avenue S. and S. Poplar Drive in Surfside Beach.

A crash involving a vehicle and an e-bike left one juvenile hospitalized.

Shortly before 3pm Tuesday, police, as well as the fire department, responded to the intersection of 8th Avenue S. and S. Poplar Drive in Surfside Beach.

The juvenile was riding an e-bike when it collided with the vehicle. The juvenile was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries but his current condition is unknown.

The vehicle had to be towed from the scene and the crash is under investigation.
