Suspension Lifted For Salute From The Shore Apache Helicopter Pilots
South Carolina National Guard Maj. Lisa Allen said the pilots were not permitted to fly during the suspension.
U.S. military officials have lifted the suspensions of eight Apache helicopter pilots that participated in the July 4th Salute from the Shore flyover.
The pilots were suspended Thursday amid an investigation into the flyover. South Carolina National Guard Maj. Lisa Allen said the pilots were not permitted to fly. They were still being paid and able to perform other duties.
The reason for the suspensions remain unclear. However, on Friday, the suspension of all those involved was lifted. Details remain limited.
