Man Arrested For Allegedly Stalking 15-Year-Old Boy

43-year-old Blaine Zdybel reportedly encountered the 15-year-old in the area of Highway 17 South in North Myrtle Beach.

One man has been arrested after allegedly stalking a teenage boy.

On Monday morning, 43-year-old Blaine Zdybel reportedly encountered the 15-year-old in the area of Highway 17 South in North Myrtle Beach.

The juvenile was riding his bicycle to work when Zdybel reportedly began to follow him in a vehicle. A little later, Zdybel entered the business where the teen worked, interacted with him, made a purchase and then left.

After his shift, Zdybel encountered the teen as he was riding his bike home and began following him again. The teen attempted to evade the vehicle through side streets and parking lots before the minor located an employee from the fire department and asked for help. Zdybel then fled the area.

Zdybel was located on Tuesday and taken into custody. He is a registered sex offender that’s unrelated to this situation and is being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center with no bail set.
