Iran National Team Allowed To Enter U.S. Two Days Earlier Than Match
The team is set to play their third match in Seattle on Friday and has been permitted to come into the U.S. two days before the match.
The Iran national team has been given permission to enter the U.S. a day earlier than they were allowed to in previous World Cup matches.

A spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security said the Iran team will still be required to leave the day the match ends. They added, the overall security measures and protocol are the same.
Iran’s base camp was moved from Arizona to Tijuana, Mexico ahead of the tournament. That came after President Trump decided they were not allowed to reside in the U.S. during the tournament due to their safety amid the ongoing conflict with the Middle East.
