Coach Kevin Schnall's teams won 93 games, including Sun Belt regular season and tournament titles in 2025.

Coastal Carolina University’s head baseball coach is moving on to another school.

During his two seasons at CCU, coach Kevin Schnall’s teams won 93 games, including Sun Belt regular season and tournament titles in 2025, when the Chanticleers finished as national runner-up to LSU at the College World Series.

The team ended this past season with a loss to Florida State in the Tallahassee Regional. CCU posted a 37-23 mark for the year.

The team’s 56 wins in 2025 set a Division I record for most victories by a first year head coach. Schnall was named Baseball America College Coach of the Year, Perfect Game National Coach of the Year, and Sun Belt Conference Coach of the Year following his debut season.

Schnall is now set to be named the next head coach at the University of South Carolina. A search for his replacement at CCU is already underway.
