Forbes has launched its ‘Self-Made 250′ list. The initiative aims to explore how innovation, ambition, and resilience continue to redefine the American Dream in the 21st century.

The list comes ahead of the United States’ 250th anniversary. It celebrates the “problem-solvers, innovators and risk-takers shaping the nation’s next chapter.”

The ‘Self-Made 250’ list also aims to recognize modern figures who started with little, or overcame major hurdles, to build massive wealth, brans or immense cultural impact.

The list includes Oprah Winfrey, Harold Hamm, David Steward, LeBron James, J.D. Vance, Bill Clinton, Dolly Parton, Dr. Dre, and more.
