Myrtle Beach State Park is set to host an event featuring ultraviolet lights.
The Park after Dark-UV Fun event will involve a one-mile walk both in the woods and out on the beach as participants use UV lights to search for hidden life such as millipedes, mushrooms, caterpillars, and more, all in the dark. Only UV and red lights will be used and they will be provided.
The event is only for adults and park admission is required along with a $15 ticket. You must wear closed toe shoes and dress for the weather. The event will be held on March 31 from 7:30-8:45pm. Participants will meet at the Fishing Pier Picnic Deck.
