Two people were injured during a two-vehicle crash in Horry County.

The accident happened around 7:40am Tuesday morning in the area of Highway 707 and Knollwood Drive near the Laurel Woods community.

Extrication operations were used to removed those confined. The two injured people were taken to a hospital to be treated while one person signed a medical transport waiver.

Socastee-bound lanes of traffic were closed but have since reopened.
