Man Stabbed Following Road Rage Incident In Horry Co.

49-year-old Ryan Fertel reportedly followed the victim to Poinsettia Drive and confronted him.

One man has been charged in connection to a road rage incident in Horry County.

The situation took place shortly before 7pm on Friday in the 900 block of Poinsettia Drive in the Conway area.

The road rage incident unfolded along Highway 544. 49-year-old Ryan Fertel reportedly followed the victim to Poinsettia Drive and confronted him. Fertel then got out of his car and stabbed the victim in the torso and armpit area.

The victim was found by police in the front yard of a home with life-threatening injuries. Fertel was reportedly still on the scene in his car, where he was arrested and taken to the hospital for cuts on his hands before he given medical clearance for jail. He is being held on a $50,000 bond.
