The City Of Florence Is Getting Over 100 New Townhome Units

The city of Florence is getting more than 100 new townhome units.

Last year, the Florence Planning Commission approved five separate townhome projects. The total comes to 107 new units.

One of the newest projects is Dowling Homes, located on W. Cheves Street in the downtown area. That development is brining 10 new units and is just one of multiple projects underway.

Additional townhome developments are in progress on W. Palmetto Street, Baroody Street, as well as several other areas.

City leaders say that most of the new townhomes are rentals, but some developments are being built for ownership.
