Horry County Student Shot And Killed

18-year-old Ja'Mir Johnson was a student of Carolina Forest who was struck and pronounced dead at the scene.

An Horry County high school student was shot and killed Thursday.

Conway police were called around 7:30am to investigate shots fired in the area of Rufus Street and 8th Avenue.

The shooting occurred near one of the Horry County school bus stops.

Several students from both Carolina Forest High and Blackwater Middle School witnessed the incident.
