Rules Across Grand Strand Beaches Change After Labor Day
Starting on 9/5, beach rules across the Grand Strand change the day after Labor Day unofficially ending the summer season.
Starting Tuesday, Post-Labor Day beach rules will go into effect across the Grand Strand.
Myrtle Beach rules include allowing dogs back on the beach at any time of day, bicycles are allowed on the boardwalk at any time as well and tents and shading devices up to 12-by-12 square feet are now allowed on the beach.
North Myrtle Beach rules also allow dogs on the beach at any time and all umbrellas and tents are allowed, as well as surfing and skim boarding in most areas.
In Surfside, bikes will be permitted and only leashed dogs will be allowed on the beach.
