Many Still Missing In Result Of Deadliest Wildfires In The U.S. In Over A Century
Governor Josh Green is urging people who are missing family members or friends to file a missing persons report to assist in counting and identifying those still not located.
Many people still remain unaccounted for following the deadliest fires in the U.S. in over a hundred years.
There are currently 41 active missing persons cases in Maui as of Monday. The broader list of missing people totals to 385. The death toll remains at 115 as crews are still working to search through the ruble that was left behind from the flames the engulfed the islands.

Green has also asked the attorney general to conduct a comprehensive review after alarms failed to alert residents as the flames wreaked havoc, devastating Lahaina. The review aims to discover if more action could have been taken to warn people.
