Wanted Man In Georgetown Arrested In New York City
A short stand-off in which the Marshal's Service and New York City SWAT team were forced to deploy gas, led to the suspects arrest.
A man wanted in Georgetown County has been arrested in New York City.
Keoone Spann was wanted in connection to a shooting that occurred on June 23rd at a convenience store off Highmarket Street in Georgetown. The incident resulted in the death of 37-year-old Reginald Green.
A short stand-off in which the Marshal’s Service and New York City SWAT team were forced to deploy gas, led to Spann’s arrest. He is set to be arraigned in New York before being extradited back to South Carolina where he will stand trial for Green’s murder.
Two other suspects have been arrested and face charges in connection to the deadly shooting including accessory after the fact of murder.
