‘The Journey to Freedom’ Statue Is Now Set Up In Georgetown
The historic statue is now set up at Joseph Hayne Rainey Park and will remain there until October 31st.
For a limited time, a historic statue can be admired in Georgetown County.
On Saturday, the Georgetown community came together to unveil ‘The Journey to Freedom’ statue.
The display shows Harriet Tubman saving a child. It weighs around 2,400 pounds and is made of bronze.
It is now set up at Joseph Hayne Rainey Park and will remain there until October 31st.
