Third Arrest Made In Robeson County Murder Investigation

The incident occurred July 26th when Kylon Locklear was found shot in Robeson County and later died at a nearby hospital.

A third arrest has been made in connection to an ongoing murder investigation.

On Wednesday, 21-year-old Kinston Locklear was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder, discharging a weapon into a vehicle, discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling and felony conspiracy and several more.

Two others were previously detained and police are still searching for 20-year-old Taima Cummings in connection to the case. All suspects face the same mentioned charges as Locklear who faces additional charges stemming from a burglary that occurred the night before the murder.
