LSU Tigers Gain The Programs Seventh National Champions Title

After being blown out of the water by the Florida Gators on Sunday, the LSU Tigers bounced back Monday night with a victory of 18-4 to win its first championship since 2009.

With only one win standing between LSU and their National Champion’s title, the team gained the lead in the second inning of Game 3 against the Gators and never looked back.

The Tigers put up nine runs to completely flip the game and secure their chances of winning. From there, they simply held on to take the 14-run win and the program’s seventh National Championship title to close out the Men’s College World Series.
