The festivities suddenly turned violent as several people fired multiple shots into the crowd.
An investigation has been opened as authorities are interviewing ‘persons of interest’. A motive behind the attack has not yet been revealed.
The identity of the one person who died has not been released and the conditions of the 23 people who were shot are unknown at this time.
