CCMF Wraps Up 2023 Event

Roads have begun to reopen in the area, but residents and visitors are advised to stay aware and alert as crews have started working on clean up.

Despite the shooting incident near the festival grounds, no other injuries were reported and the event wrapped up after the weekend full of music.

Sunday night, CCMF goers were forced to leave festival grounds as Lainey Wilson was finishing her performance due to lightening, strong winds and rain in the area.

Gates later opened around 9:15p.m. and the last two performers, Travis Tritt and Miranda Lambert went on to wrap up the weekend as guests were approved to reenter.

An announcement was made that Morgan Wallen will in fact be the main headliner for next year’s festival which will be held from June 6th through the 9th.

Wallen was originally supposed to perform this year, but opted out after being put on vocal rest.
