Perry’s Bait and Tackle to Operate on Surfside Beach Pier

Officials are still working to finalize an opening date for the pier which has been under construction since December of 2020.

Perry’s Bait & Tackle announced plans to expand.
The Murrells Inlet bait shop will open a second location on the Surfside Beach pier. The business signed a five-year lease yesterday and their original shop in Murrells Inlet will remain open. Officials are still working to finalize an opening date for the pier which has been under construction since December of 2020 after being destroyed by Hurricane Matthew in October 2016.
