Governor McMaster To Visit Emergency Centers In S.C. Counties

The governor will participate in an annual 'hurricane fly around' exercise where he will visit emergency operation centers.

Governor McMaster is set to meet with emergency management leaders in Horry County and other coastal regions on Monday.

The governor will participate in an annual ‘hurricane fly around’ exercise where he will visit emergency operation centers in Horry, Beaufort and Charleston counties to discuss preparations for the storm season.

McMaster will start early in the morning at the newly opened Randall S. Webster emergency operations and communications center in Conway before traveling to several centers located in the other two counties.

The Palmetto State experienced impacts of three storms last year including Tropical Storm Colin, Hurricane Ian, and Tropical Storm Nicole.
